I love art. Both, traditional and digital ones. Also, I am a sucker for great illustrations, layout & background art. And watercolors. I love watercolors.
Oh I use photoshop cs3 on my cranky old Laptop which can't be used for more that 2 hours haha
OHHHh and I love animated features. Ghibli and old Disneys are the best <3 but also a wide variety of animes.
I am going to study french and english after graduation. In my free time I am also studying japanese, later maybe italian too. BUT I want to study character animation either in the States or France. btw, english is my second language c:

Tips on how to get better at drawing
How to get better at art This advice is based on my opinion. I draw a lot. Ans you should do the same. Something I started to do since last summer is carrying a sketchbook with you wherever you go. And draw something in there all the time. serious doodles. dumb doodles. all of them. DO you have a dog? DRaw it. A plant? draw it.
And there is another thing I really recommend all of you: Go and do some anatomy studies. Take a life drawing class. Read about skeletons. Draw from stock videos or photos. Don't say "screw anatomy" because that won't make you cooler or a better artist. Draw, Draw, Draw.
Don't just use pencils. Use crayons. Use watercolors. Or even coffee. Experiment with any medium you can lay your fingers at. Charcoal is a very very good medium to work with, even if it makes your hands super dirty.
Another thing I would like to add: don't just draw canines all the time. Go out of your comfort zone! sho sho! Can't draw fat people? DRAW FAT PEOPLE. Can't draw water? DRAW WATER. The more you practise, the better you get. Try to draw as many different items/animals/plants as possible. Whily I did my two sketchbooks for CalArts, I tried to never really draw the same animal twice (with an exception of 2-3 times). I draw houses. plants. mushrooms. humans. kids. crocodiles. etc. All in all, there are probably just 5 pages with canines in there. of about 560 pages all together. And now go and draw!

I will prob add more things here in future. Please, those are my tips and tricks on how to get better at art, and I do not intend on insulting anybody in any way. Also, I definitely not the best artist out there, but I try my best to get better by practising every day.
